As a Fireplace & Chimney Professional, you’ll install, service, and repair gas, pellet, and wood-burning appliances. You’ll progress through a structured career path from Apprentice to Master Technician, with increasing responsibilities and technical complexity.
Key Responsibilities
• Install and service all fuel types: gas, pellet, wood
• Perform complex repairs and custom chase tops
• Communicate proactively with customers and team members
• Educate customers with empathy and respect
• Maintain clean and organized workspaces and vehicles
• Mentor junior technicians and evaluate job profitability
• Participate in ongoing training and certification (e.g., NFI)

Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in varied conditions
• NFI certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Experience in HVAC, construction, or related trades a plus
