Position Summary:
Fallon’s Home and Hearth is seeking a reliable, customer-focused Part-Time Sales &
Support Associate to join our weekend team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys
helping others, takes pride in their work, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.
You’ll be responsible for processing transactions using our Odoo POS system and assisting
customers with loading products, including 40lb bags of pellets. Forklift operation is
required.
Essential Functions:
• Customer Transactions: Operate the Odoo POS system to complete sales
accurately and efficiently.
• Product Loading: Safely load customer purchases into vehicles, including heavy
items like pellet bags.
• Forklift Operation: Operate a forklift to move and stage inventory as needed.
• Customer Service: Provide friendly, proactive assistance to customers, guiding
them through their purchases and ensuring a positive experience.
• Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain a clean and organized workspace that
reflects our commitment to quality and attention to detail.
• Team Communication: Communicate proactively with team members to ensure
smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40lbs regularly.
• Forklift experience (certification preferred or willingness to obtain).
• Weekend availability is required.
• Basic computer skills and comfort with POS systems (Odoo experience is a plus).
Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, helpful attitude
Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
